As Director of designFARM I have been privileged to bring a carefully curated range of the world’s most iconic furniture houses to the West Australian market. With more than 25 years’ experience in the furniture industry I have established a great network including Designers, Suppliers as well as Leading Orgnisations. My role allows me to direct leadership and decision-making, overseeing all facets of the business including business strategy, operations, financials, marketing and business development.designFARM was established by my father Rod Washer in 1997 and I now have the privilege of looking after it. designFARM was the first business of its kind based in Perth to house iconic international designer furniture brands, making international design readily available to the WA market where this did not previously exist. We are extremely proud to be a WA, family-owned and operated business and are very passionate about bringing good design to WA. We like to think that we have played a key role in Perth’s design landscape – having provided residential and commercial furniture to a number of key projects throughout WA during our 27 year history.
