Densyfy created a proprietary AI driven solution that enables the viewers to easily customize what they want to watch based on their time constraints. For an online demo of the process visit video.densyfy.comMy primary responsibility was to support the team by creating tools to manually complete the process on media where is not enough datasets to be trained with machine learning. I also created a tool for the verification of output produced by the AI pipeline with the ability for the user to provide feedback to the pipeline and make and manual corrections. I also created a tool assist in the collection and annotate video datasets for training the dentification process. As well, I created a prototype version of the web player used to demo our process online. While I did not create any of the Ai in the pipeline, I did implement a number of leading-edge machine learning libraries into our tools to provide some intelligent functions, to improve the user’s workflow. I primary worked with Visual Studio, C++ & Qt to create the before mentioned window applications while coordinating the requirements with remote team members.

Scytl acquired Akira Systems for the Wavelength product in 2016 to add to their collection of software completing in the elections market. The product was rebranding Poll Worker Management and was refocused around the application, hiring, scheduling, and training of election staff.My primary responsibility was the management of the wavelength team. I also spent time interfacing with the remote departments to understand new design requirements, assist with client training, and oversee on premise implementations.

Akira Systems is the creator of a Human Capital Management (HCM) solution called Wavelength. Wavelengths modular architecture adapts to client business needs from HRIS, WFM, ESC and HR all built with employee self-service in mind.My primary responsibility was the Wavelength product and the team. I was initially hired to create a prototype for wavelength for a local client. As that project success grow, we were able to productize the project and hire a small team of developers to support the product. Before the company was sold to Scytl I was integrated with the whole wavelength team from client relations, to design, to development, to quality assurance. The initial prototype was created in SharePoint. And while elements of upgraded over time to include a more modern front end created using C# & MVC framework, native applications using Xamarin, and reporting database using TSQL. The core elements of the product where integrated into the Share Point platform. While there where a number of advantages with the SharePoint platform the massive draw back was performance and as such data access routines where highly optimized and many jobs where done in deferred batches.

The GIS integration required setting up and working with Open Street Map.
