Worked in a consultant/developer role where I provided project design, implementation, data migration and support for customers using the M365 suite. Specializing in Document Management Systems using SharePoint Online, Power Platform and 3rd party tools to automate business processes and migrate legacy data.Notable Projects:2 years consulting for a UK Government department. Developed and migrated sites from SPO Classic to Modern using Sharegate tool. Developed a Project Initiator App for the PMO team, that allowed data input, multiple approval flows and output of a Project Initiation Document, using SharePoint lists, PowerApps, PowerAutomate and Word Quickparts. Designed a solution using Aquaforest OCR and Tagger software, to OCR and automatically tag new documents uploaded daily, and thousands of documents retrospectively, to improve the search process during Freedom of Information requests.SharePoint migration from datacenter file shares to multiple M365 tenants, for worldwide offices of a large pharmaceutical enterprise based in Japan and USA using Sharegate. The pre-migration work involved hosting planning meetings with the affiliate office site co-ordinators, to manage the migration plans.Designed and implemented a solution for a UK Energy sector enterprise, to replace a 3rd Party DMS application that was expensive, outdated and not well supported. Using their existing licensing for SharePoint and Power Platform resulted in a cost savings of approximately 60,000GBP a year for the Operations team.Developed an intranet for US based Energy company with drilling operations in West Africa, Canada and Egypt. Designed and implemented a complex approval process system for new Vendors using Flowforma DPA, which reduced the Vendor Onboarding time from 3 weeks to less than a day.

Consulted on several team projects using a variety of components across the Microsoft Stack, SharePoint, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, and Azure SQL. Played a large role in Data Migration and Testing for each project. Migrated solutions from On-premises SharePoint farms to SharePoint Online and surfaced through MS Teams for several public sector clients.

Conducted technical design meetings with clients to gather their available infrastructure, IT resource knowledge level and post-implementation support requirements. Designed and implemented SharePoint architecture using SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online. Implemented and managed Azure solutions using PaaS and IaaS for a large NHS enterprise that were an early adopter of cloud services. Trained and managed my team to support SharePoint Server Systems, Office 365 and Power BI subscriptions, internally and for clients.

Consulted with clients to design and implement SharePoint 2010 and 2013 platforms for projects. Developed a platform monitoring report solution using PowerShell, that was sold by Cloud2 as an additional support offering. Trained client staff to maintain their SharePoint platform and act as 1st line support to their users, then provided 2nd/3rd line support to those users. Administered the internal Cloud2 IT infrastructure to ensure that staff had access to the resources they needed to complete projects on time and on budget.

Configured the company intranet using MOSS 2007 and then successfully upgraded to SharePoint 2010 after a company merger. Administered the new company intranet for 2600 employees. Gathered requirements for SharePoint solution projects and worked with developers to deploy solutions. Trained end users on SharePoint features and custom solutions. Supported several critical business applications as a member of the Business Support Team using MS software such as Dynamics Great Plains, SQL Server 2008 and Team Foundation Server.Certified for SharePoint 2010 Administration.
