I am a U.S. qualified attorney with over 10 years of corporate legal experience, working previously as a Legal Counsel at a U.S. Fortune 500 insurance company and overseas in China as a Legal Consultant on international business and investment matters. Now a resident of The Netherlands, I am working as a Legal and Public Affairs Counsel at The Ocean Cleanup, a non-profit organization committed to developing and scaling technologies to rid the world’s oceans and waterways of plastic pollution. My role involves providing advice for the business entities; managing legal risks in various countries, areas of law and jurisdictions; negotiating and drafting contracts with partners, governments and international organizations; and supporting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
