North Bedfordshire

-Oversaw the delivery of High Quality PE and School Sport for Young People- Managed a team of eight School Sport Coordinators (Secondary/Upper School PE staff on paid release)- Managed and facilitated the training and development of over 25 Primary school teachers in High Quality PE. - Oversaw the delivery of school festivals and competitions. Over 4,500 children aged 5-19 attended competitive sporting opportunities created by the SSP- Developed leadership and volunteering programmes for young people of all ages, working closely with them providing mentoring, guidance and opportunities- Managed the six-figure budget and strategic plan for the SSP- Surpassed all national targets and averages, including increases from previous years in; three hours sports curriculum participation, intra and inter school competition, leadership and volunteering, school to community club links. Over 4,700 children – 94% of children - accessed ongoing sporting opportunities within North Bedfordshire.

South Northamptonshire And Daventry

· Management and coordination of the national Swimming programme across 94 Primary schools. In excess of 1,800 children across one year group accessed high quality swimming instruction; a significant increase on previous year’s participation.· Developed and facilitated the Primary school teacher training programmes for the SSP. Managed, coordinated and organised over sixty teacher training events.· Expanded and delivered the leadership and volunteering programmes, including workshops with over 200 young people aged 13-18. Facilitated their involvement in Primary schools curricular and extra-curricular delivery in primary schools.· Nominated Northamptonshire County Council ‘Partner of the Month’ Award February 2010 for establishing a sustainable leadership and volunteering programme alongside County Council departments.· Formulated and delivered sports activities to over 700 Primary children across over 20 schools during National School Sports Week.

- Delivery of The FA’s national football Development Plan across schools, clubs and communities in Northamptonshire - Oversaw the attainment of the FA kite-mark for schools and clubs across Northamptonshire, doubling the number of FA-national standard clubs, with over thirty clubs achieving the FA standards. - Directly responsible for increasing the number of FA-qualified teachers in schools through FA programmes - Project and event management; Development and delivery of football festivals for schools and clubs – over 1,000 children taking part in competitive sport- Worked in partnership with FA-qualified coaches and local professional clubs to provide coaching opportunities in local schools, providing them with the opportunity to access FA-qualified coaches free of charge. - Introduction of ‘Futsal’ as a recognised sport in over 15 schools and clubs.

- Marketed and promoted the company’s club and player development programme across multiple states to over thirty clubs- Formed, developed and implemented session plans and development guides for clubs- Wrote programmes and coaching guides for players, coaches and executives of clubs across three states that formed the basis of entire club development programmes- Composed in-depth, long-term development reports for clubs to enable progressive development of children and clubs, enabling me to pick up a National Award through MLSC- Management responsibilities for up to 200 staff- My development reports were used as blueprint and best practice examples across the organisation in seminars and workshops in both the USA and UK
