• Evaluated primary and secondary needs of a Salvadoran town of more than 1,000 people through observations, data collection, and surveys.• Conducted more than 100 interviews with local leaders to develop project ideas and identify potential impact areas.• Founded and directed a team of 25 youth to establish, maintain, and continually improve a weekly farmers market that currently benefits five communities, four schools, and more than 2,000 people.• Established clubs benefiting 300+ youth that focus on leadership development, life skills, and civic participation through sports and games, arts and crafts, and environmentalism.• Trained 30 teachers on the development and implementation of a new participatory Environmental Education curriculum.• Led yearlong Art and Leadership course and five related youth camps.• Managed all budgeting, accounting, reporting, and financing processes for multiple grants awarded to the community.• Served as treasurer of the Women and Development Scholarship Committee that managed a $10,000 education grant.
