Tasked with studying prototype contact lenses using atomic force microscopy. I planned and designed the experiments in a time sensitive manner and balanced with my general PhD research commitments. Findings provided greater knowledge of differences between the prototype and current products.

I was responsible for various parts of the forgetoday.com website, which is hosted on WordPress Premium. Custom HTML, JavaScript and CSS was used to tailor the available templates to fit the needs of the different aspects of Forge Media. This included the embedding of auto-refreshing Now Playing information and radio players.

As Head of Sport, I was responsible for the weekly flagship sports programming output of the station and coordinating Forge Radio's coverage of Sheffield Varsity 2015. This involved a team of approximately 40 volunteers covering multiple days of sport at various venues across the city.Forge TV's Head of Sport stepped down during the year, resulting in the additional planning of visual broadcasts and a rapid handover to the new TV Head of Sport shortly before the Varsity period.

I had a work experience placement in the IT Department of West Midlands Police, mainly in the Communications section. Work involved various office tasks, as well research to increase the efficiency of the Airwave system.
