Over my 25+ years working in education as a techno-peda/andragogue in both the public and private sectors, I have become effective and creative at producing memorable and enjoyable learning experiences.Asa G. Hilliard once said, "The knowledge and skills to educate people already exist. There are no pedagogical barriers to teaching and learning when willing people are prepared and made available to them.” As an EdTech evangelist and a lifelong learner, these words serve as inspiration in combining my passion and ability to think outside the box to meet the needs of learners—both young and old—leaving them better prepared to face the challenges of the future head-on. While learning, people may know me for creating a safe and inclusive environment in which they are empowered to rise to high expectations and demonstrate learning in multiple ways with my unwavering support and respect.Outside of regular curriculum development, my colleagues know me as someone who is willing to go above and beyond by serving on Equity Teams, Curriculum Committees, and training other people in educational technology. As I reflect upon my time as an educator, I know I want to leverage my leadership qualities to bring stakeholders together to create more effective opportunities for educational success, want to engage in creative problem solving, and want to work with a large-scale operation that challenges me to learn a new climate focused on Education Technology.When I am not educating citizens of tomorrow and adults of today, personal hobbies and interests include swimming, skating, and enjoying everything Quebec has to offer with my amazing friends and partner.I look forward to connecting and being able to change the world with you and do some wonderful things.
