Participated on the District Science Curriculum Council to advocate for building Science teachers and gather information on district-level Science curriculum and policies. Participated on the Building Instructional Leadership Team to analyze and present Science Department data to other school leaders and contribute to the development of school-level policies. Lead meetings with department members to analyze student Science data to inform instruction, educate members about current technology tools, and provide content support.

Utilized instructional and educational technology (Google Apps for Education, PowerSchool, Schoology) to enhance the science curriculum and create data-driven lessons and assessments to measure student knowledge and content mastery. Collaborated with co-teachers and intervention specialists to differentiate lessons that would prepare students for future high school success. Developed relationships and maintained open communication with various groups (parents, guardians, social workers, psychologists, etc.) to foster investment in students' academic success.
