The focus of my role at Oriam was to ensure the smooth day to day running of the busy sports centre, assuring customers have the best experience possible. I believe this role has helped me vastly improve my customer service skills and I now feel extremely comfortable interacting with and assisting people. As well as maintaining a good level of customer satisfaction, the role required me to think on my feet to solve problems and deal with issues in and around the facility.

During the height of the coronavirus lockdown, I worked as a picker for Amazon in the Dunfermline depot. My tasks were to pick items from the different levels to then be packed by my colleagues and be sent to customers while meeting the targets set. It was a fast-paced, high intensity environment which meant I was under a lot of pressure, but feel I took this in my stride and highlighted my strong work ethic.
