Jamie Dunning, BSPharm, PharmD, was co-founder of Aventine Consulting, acquired by Prime in late 2023, to have now become SVP of the new US-based group, Prime-Aventine. Jamie has focused the past 20 years on developing market access medical communications for payers and pharmaceutical industry. Under the new Aventine-Prime flag, Jamie continues to specialize in preapproval information exchange (PIE), AMCP dossiers, and GVDs, critical for the continuum of communicating the value of products to population health decision makers. Jamie has worked with pharmaceutical companies of all sizes to develop evidence-based and meaningful value statements for products for an extensive range of disease states. Jamie brings clinical depth to Prime-Aventine with years of experience in clinical oncology, US managed care, and the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to consulting, Jamie was Director of Pharmacy for a home infusion/specialty injectable company in Seattle. Her managed care career began in 1994 at Group Health Cooperative, where she was a clinical pharmacist for the hospital, oncology infusion center, and home infusion programs. While at GHC, Jamie was responsible for numerous formulary management projects. Subsequently, Jamie was recruited by Immunex (now Amgen) by the medical information department for their oncology and rheumatology products before ultimately tying together her strengths in clinical pharmacy practice, formulary management, and pharmaceutical company communications to have become the seasoned dossier and market access consultant she is today.Jamie earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Colorado in Denver, where she received an Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience Achievement Award for outstanding performance. She received her 5-year Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Washington School of Pharmacy (Go Huskies!), with a minor from the School of Music, and has been a registered pharmacist in the State of Washington since that time.Outside of work, Jamie enjoys music performance and water sport, including these recent adventures:>Conquering the 70-mile, 48-hour, open-water race ("Seventy48") on the Puget Sound as a solo rower.>Surfing on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, Washington, California, and Vancouver Island, BC.>Performing on sax with the Seattle Rock Orchestra and nationally pre-Covid with the ISPOR band.>Navigating 700 miles up the Inside Passage aboard her 68' catamaran from Seattle to Alaska.>White-water rafting 300 miles down the entirety of the Grand Canyon from Lees Ferry to Lake Mead
