From education, to clinical practice, to research and dental treatment protocols, I strive to exceed the notions of your quintessential dental hygienist. I work closely with each of my patients on a weekly basis in order to personalize their dental wellness plan. With my biggest obstacle being patient compliance, I make every effort to educate and bring awareness to patients on the adverse oral effects they may face following radiation treatment. While a lot of patient education comes from experience, I spend time researching evidenced based theories in order to better understand my patients diagnosis and personalize their care. My position has a dental hygienist can be challenging, yet very gratifying and influential. My passion for dental hygiene and health care is continuously growing. This career path has allowed me to improve the overall health of individuals through education, clinical practice, and research, with the integrations and collaborations of my own dental team and health care professionals as a whole.
