As a freelancer, I supported the clients I worked with alongside my previous employer, HRCG. During this time, I have been responsible for creating solutions for clients that include branding development, print and digital design, web design, illustration, and internal communications collateral. I manage all of my projects and have developed disciplined time management skills and self-motivation to meet demanding deadlines and exceed client expectations.

The Trevor Project is an organization focused on suicide prevention and mental health care for LGBTQIA+ youth. I completed rigorous training in order to become a volunteer with this incredible organization. In this position, I work directly with LGBTQIA+ youth who are in crisis.(Kept vague and brief to protect anonymity of self and platform)

I acted as the lead designer at HRCG. I successfully worked on multiple simultaneous design projects independently and collaboratively with our other designers and editorial team members. I had the opportunity to design a wide range of print and digital documents within diverse client brands, from one-page mailers to 200+ page complex interactive documents. My responsibilities also included web and UX design, writing and editing, illustration, and campaign branding development for a broad range of clients including Fortune 500 companies.

My time at Appearances helped me hone my versatility! I managed multiple client accounts in a variety of fields including government, non-profit, medical, real estate, and retail. I designed beautiful print and digital materials to suit client needs, including advertising, event collateral, posters and mailers, and more. I also wrote, edited, and published diverse materials including press releases, features on local businesses, and monthly newsletters.

The Center For Civic Engagement

In this role, I was responsible for developing digital and print materials within university branding, managing multiple social media accounts, and assisting in website development. Additionally, I represented the organization at university and outreach events and provided photography for use in our materials. I collaborated with a large staff and interviewed and trained new marketing staff.

Department Of Residence Life

As a resident advisor, I was responsible for building and maintaining a positive, safe, welcoming living community among 30 residents for three semesters. This included event planning, safety monitoring, and maintaining individual relationships with each resident. I completed multiple trainings in mental health support, sexual assault, community building, conflict mediation, resident safety, emergency intervention.
