Receives requests for emergency services via telephone, radio, and computer. Accurately and quickly enters into a computer or records manually information needed to dispatch according to established protocol. Supplies additional information to appropriate dispatch points as required. Logs, manually or electronically, calls for dispatch handled and actions taken. Receives and handles requests for non-emergency assistance and information.Serves as a lead worker in the center. Gives guidance, assistance and training to co-workers. Assumes responsibility for an assigned shift in the absence of the shift supervisor.Maintains proficiency in at least two of the following operational areas: 911, Fire/EMS dispatch, and Police dispatch.Relays information or requests to other jurisdictions or agencies via radio or telephone. Provides first aid and basic life support instructions to callers from established guidelines.Operates radio transmitter and receiver to dispatch fire, police, or EMS personnel and equipment to life or property-threatening emergency and non-emergency situations. Determines and coordinates response of equipment according to established protocol. Monitors and accurately records status and location of units electronically or manually. Supplies and/or relays information to appropriate Fire, EMS, and Police elements. Monitors Fire/EMS or Police calls of adjacent jurisdictions.Operates a radio transmitter, voice recorder, computer terminal with input keyboard, telephone, intercom, and ancillary printers in the performance of the duties listed above. Uses a variety of computer systems to access sensitive information pertaining to motor vehicle registrations and warrants. Uses maps and other reference materials when necessary to determine correct location of response.

Working knowledge of research and applies general analytical skills to administer the logistical implementation of assigned projects, and to identify situations requiring special attention.Utilizing this knowledge, will ensure adherence to research protocols, operating procedures, and all associated internal/external regulations.Using working knowledge will assist in developing recruitment tools for assigned study(s), which include protocol/study specific data collection forms, drafting and placing approved advertisements, and contacting physicians for possible referrals.Monitors data quality and accuracy as required by research protocol. Will run pre-established queries and may develop ad-hoc queries/reports as requested Utilizing working knowledge of study(s) will participate in meetings to provide operational updates, report on any operational issues, and may make recommendations for resolutions to new/outstanding operational issues.

mplements and maintains data collection and analysis systems in support of research protocol; including the management of data, paper files, and electronic databases.Ensures the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of research and data collection activities in compliance with The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other relevant patient privacy statutes.Acts as the primary administrative point of contact for internal research staff.Coordinates the day-to-day activities in the carrying out of research protocol, as appropriate to the position; may perform aspects of research protocol, as required, in accordance with specified program objectives.Develops and maintains records of research activities, and prepares periodic and ad hoc reports, as required by investigators and/or regulatory bodies.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
