The organisation I previously worked for was a large office supplies company with a national presence. I was responsible at first for supporting the Sales team, placing their clients orders as well as dealing with all operational related enquiries. I was then promoted to new business development, actively researching prospective new clients before making contact to arrange introductory meetings helping to build our client portfolio.
