As the executive director of communications and marketing at Gettysburg College I lead the College’s holistic and integrated marketing efforts that are designed to enhance the College’s brand visibility and reputation.

As the director of communications and media relations at Gettysburg College, I am responsible for developing, directing, and implementing news and content strategies with a goal of enhancing the College's national visibility and reputation.

Responsible for developing a yearly communications and advocacy strategy to promote the work of Pennsylvania’s community colleges and advocate for additional state dollars and other policy/legislative interests. Oversaw news releases, feature stories, and op-eds, and developed talking points and speeches for the community college presidents and the Commission's executive director on issues concerning community colleges on a statewide level.

Crafted messaging for Governor Rendell and his executive cabinet and served as a media spokesperson for the administration on issues related to community and economic development in Pennsylvania.

Worked with a variety of health care and non-profit clients to plan events, develop news releases, op-eds, newsletters and ad copy.
