I also volunteer for a Fix-It Clinic in Minneapolis where I teach members of the general public new skills in repairing household goods to help save them money and reduce landfill waste.I was educated in electronic engineering but went straight into telecoms marketing after university where I "translated" customer needs into product specifications and at the end of the product cycle, coached my sales colleagues how to sell the thing we built. I now manage a team of developers who are as passionate as I am when it comes to making customers smile with glee.Away from my desk I tinker with all things electrical and mechanical, have a collection of chainsaws, love making things from trees and being in the great outdoors.
