• Develop and implement project proposals, protocols, work plans and timelines and then develop and run novel experiments from the ground up
• Develop these ideas and results into presentable data for grant proposals, publications, and practical applications
• Record data using a Neuralynx and the Cheetah Acquisition Software along with MedPC. Code and design various computer programs using TransIV
• Analyze gigabytes of raw data and prepare sorted data for presentation to the PI
• Import and analyze the data using Matlab
• Aid with the designing of other lab members experiments, as well as helping and overseeing in the collection and analysis of the data and assist in reviewing results

• Originally took a volunteer position and was shortly after offered a paying position.
• Teach and interact with people of ages 5 and up.
• Responsible for leading classes of up to 30 people on my own.
• Trusted enough in order to test the students I teach as well as those I do not.
• Help put together and perform in a semiannual martial arts show.

• Provided research support in studies which were designed to evaluate the risk association and cell signaling in the prefrontal cortex.
• Responsible for running experiments, along with handling the animals, during the said experiment.
• Respinsible for recording results and doing basic analysis and the data collected.
• Completed the Canadian Council on Animal Care experimental animal user training course.
• Learned various histological techniques including tissuefixing, dehydrating, embedding, sectioning, and mounting slices.
• Responsible for making a variety of precise solutions used in slicing tissue and recording cell signaling.
