As a 2nd year Accounting and Finance student at the University of East Anglia (UEA), I am eager to apply my academic knowledge and skills to a practical and professional setting. I am currently looking for a placement year opportunity in the industry that aligns with my degree and interests.My most recent work experience is as a front-of-house employee at Sodexo, where I process customer orders, coordinate with managers and kitchen staff, and deliver bar, food and barista service. I demonstrate a positive attitude, problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal skills in this role. Additionally, I have completed two job simulations at Forage, where I gained proficiency in Excel, data analysis, automation, and data visualisation, as well as exposure to investment banking and M&A processes. These experiences have enhanced my numerical, analytical, and communication skills, as well as my understanding of the financial sector.I am passionate about learning new things, taking on challenges, and working with diverse and collaborative teams.
