I enjoy managing and developing services designed to bring people out of the margins.Work interests include:• Effective approaches with Trauma • Developing as a Psychologically Informed Environment• Coaching people to manage themselves• Embedding Equality and Diversity.In 2016 I finished a MA in Cultural and Critical Studies at Birkbeck, writting on women’s voices and disclosure of sexual abuse, reading women’s first person narratives through social work texts alongside Eimear McBride’s "A Girl is a Half-Formed Thing" and Maya Angelou’s "I know why the caged bird sings".In 2019 I Completed a Master of Research (Art: Moving Image) at Central St. Martins. My dissertation took an experimental form and placed Derek Jarman's film Blue as the central research focus. I hope to begin a PhD in the near future looking at interstices of film, cultural memory, psychogeography and literature.Other academic interests include:• The cultural production of madness in historical contexts• Narratives of psychoses & representability.• The power of language, words and signs.• Visual Arts- Photography, Artist’s Moving Image, Art & Art Books.
