I enjoy managing and developing services designed to bring people out of the margins.Work interests include:β’ Effective approaches with Trauma β’ Developing as a Psychologically Informed Environmentβ’ Coaching people to manage themselvesβ’ Embedding Equality and Diversity.In 2016 I finished a MA in Cultural and Critical Studies at Birkbeck, writting on womenβs voices and disclosure of sexual abuse, reading womenβs first person narratives through social work texts alongside Eimear McBrideβs "A Girl is a Half-Formed Thing" and Maya Angelouβs "I know why the caged bird sings".In 2019 I Completed a Master of Research (Art: Moving Image) at Central St. Martins. My dissertation took an experimental form and placed Derek Jarman's film Blue as the central research focus. I hope to begin a PhD in the near future looking at interstices of film, cultural memory, psychogeography and literature.Other academic interests include:β’ The cultural production of madness in historical contextsβ’ Narratives of psychoses & representability.β’ The power of language, words and signs.β’ Visual Arts- Photography, Artistβs Moving Image, Art & Art Books.

Around 200 clients per day would attend to gain access to food, showers and clothes. I carried out initial assessments with people, prioritising need and signposting to specialist services. -
