My role expended to cover the services in Lambeth, Southwark and Westminster, adding a coaching service and extending the community hub model from Kennington to Seymour Place, Marylebone.We delivered a partnership with Lambeth Adult Learning delivering financial and digital learning courses. We also worked tightly across the organisation to ensure sound protocols around COVID and lockdowns.I worked with the leadership team and the CQC giving practical support to the planned closure of our care home in Islington.I became the deputy designated safeguarding lead for the organisation.

I joined Strides as Service Manager of Burgess Park House and Cherry Tree House in the summer of 2016, our supported Housing Pathway for Men and Women who have served in the UK Military. After a year I also became interim Manger of St. Luke's Hub and Residential in Kennington.

Southwark

I managed two teams- one providing temporary accommodation and the other providing intensive support to people in 13 semi-independent houses across the borough. I managed the large temporary accommodation project through £2m of structural redevelopment to completion. The people who lived with us had a wide range of support needs, 2 hostels worked with women only and 1 gave specific support to people with mental health need.

Islington Mental Health Projects

I supported Ade Somoye in the leadership and management of four projects around the London borough of Islington. Our residents took opportunities to take charge of their recovery. Two of these hostels offered 24hr support from staff. The staff team and the relationships they have with clients were the biggest asset.

Adamson Road

This role was supporting Will Williams in the management of a high support mental health project supporting people at all stages of their recovery.

Endsleigh Gardens

I took the lead with clients who experienced mental health issues here at this busy, first stage hostel near Euston, London. I managed a case load of 8-12 clients with complex needs.

The passage is a day centre for people experiencing homelessness in Victoria, London where I assisted in the day to to day running. Around 200 clients per day would attend to gain access to food, showers and clothes. I carried out initial assessments with people, prioritising need and signposting to specialist services.

The West Pier Project

I led the weekend team at a newly acquired project on the seafront in Brighton. I developed a weekend activities program with residents taking a small agreed budget for this. I line managed the other weekend workers and the night staff.

I delivered a 6 week structured programme in tandem with a residential rehab to equip people for living in unsupported accommodation.

I worked throughout Brighton and Hove and beyond in a variety of settings on an agency basis. The majority of my work was split between 'Mill View' and 'The Priory' (both acute mental health hospitals). Towards the end I specialised on the p-ICU ward. (Psychiatric Intensive Care)
