Hi Everyone! I am a Medicaid admissions supervisor at a treatment center, who helps people recover from substance abuse and mental health. There are very few and far between facilities that accept Medicaid health insurance, so those that come my way get the chance to live a brand new life substance-free. I love hearing success stories. To inspire, one has to be inspired. To dream, one has to have dreams. To be successful, one has to be shown what success is. Be the change, you want to be.I love to play on words and am a deep thinker; I love to think outside the box, and anything is possible. My favorite saying of all time was chosen from a children's book called 'The Little Engine That Could" " I think I can." My favorite word in the world is intimacy, which, when one breaks apart the word, stands for "In-to-me-you-see."I work a 12-step program, allowing me to be a better version of myself. I was taught that if you don't understand something, it's okay to ask for help, and asking for help is not a sign of weakness. Asking for help takes courage and strength. I help people become better versions of themselves. I help people see that yesterday is the past, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift, so stay in today and unwrap the gift of the present. I facilitated a 12-step group for adolescents, helping them understand the importance of self-love and the ability to pass along a positive message to others. "By helping ourselves, we can, in turn, help others."Outside of work, I always try to get involved within the community and be outside with Mother Nature, which is beautiful. I love showing and telling people how I was able to change my life. Leading my peers to a common goal of success is a true passion of mine. I want always to remain teachable and to inspire others. To help people recover from a hopeless state of mind and body is pure bliss!
