Provide front line HR generalist level support for the School of Medicine. Responsible for accurate data collection, data entry, and processing employment changes. Facilitate on-boarding and orientation for new employees. Partner with managers on off-boarding processes for departing employees. Assist with recruitment efforts including creation of offer documents, and verification of work eligibility. Obtain work authorization for foreign nationals. Analyze and interpret policies and procedures.

Provide multi-state HR support. Lead recruitment efforts and on-boarding of non-exempt employees. Facilitate exit interviews and all associated exit paperwork. Handle daily administration of benefit plans including training, enrollment, and questions. Partner with benefit vendors and brokers to resolve any benefit issues. Answer employee inquiries about HR policies, programs, etc. Maintain employee records within the HRIS employee database system (ADP). Chairperson of company's Activities Committee and Health and Wellness Committee.

Primary responsibilities include recruiting and employee orientation, maintaining employee files, SAP data entry, and assisting employees with HR related questions while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. Other areas of responsibility include leading plant communication efforts through various outlets including a monthly employee newsletter. • Ensure hourly recruitment processes are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance to company policy and legal guidelines• Manage the on-boarding process for hourly new hire employees• Assist with development of employee handbook and evaluation of policies and procedures• Lead employee engagement initiatives and activities• Develop and execute employee recognition programs • Maintain budget for areas of responsibility • Maintain broad range of HR clerical tasks
