Throughout my career to date, my work has involved empowering communities and the broader public to participate in decision making structures. This involves creating and facilitating accessible stakeholder-centric environments that facilitate engagement with decision makers and participation in decision-making processes.I have previously led the development of various Public Participation Network (PPN) structures, setup the National PPN Workers Network and was a nominated representative on the National PPN Advisory Group chaired by the Department of Rural and Community Development. I have represented Ireland at the United Nations General Assembly through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and National Youth Council of Ireland's UN Youth Delegate Programme. This included delivering a statement on behalf of Ireland at the UN in New York.
