Cooler Screens is creating the world's largest point of sale media platform by transforming retail cooler surfaces to deliver new marketing opportunities and smart merchandising for consumers, retailers and brands.

Jamie served as Chief Design Officer of one of the fastest growing start-ups in Chicago. At Cooler Screens, he successfully built the brand, product and design team to launch a highly visible national six store pilot that led to the approval for a 2,500 store roll-out for Walgreens. In addition, Jamie helped secure Series A and B funding as a member of the leadership team.

Jamie served for 27 years as Founding Partner, President and Board Member of the internationally recognized brand and marketing agency VSA Partners. During his tenure, Jamie was instrumental in the overall growth, visibility and design leadership of this 350-person agency for such leading brands as AB InBev, Chicago Cubs, CME Group, Coca-Cola, Google, Harley-Davidson, IBM, Nike, Northern Trust, P&G and RH.

The platform harnesses a growing flood of data -- clinical, patient reported and more -- to create an experience that is tailored to each person's unique health goals, lifestyle and motivators.

Named in honor of Joyce C. Hall, founder of Hallmark Cards, the Joyce C. Hall Distinguished Professor of Design position at KCAI is underwritten by the Hall family. The position has been held previously by a distinguished line of design professionals including Ann Willoughby, Katherine McCoy, Mary Lou Brous, Ivan Chermayeff, Milton Glaser and Emilio Ambasz, each of whom has helped contribute to the shape of the KCAI graphic design curriculum.
