I have worked in education as a secondary English teacher for fifteen years and taught regular and advanced English courses for grades 8 through 12. I also have experience coaching UIL, specifically Journalism and Literary Criticism, and being the yearbook advisor. I have a deep passion for education and helping others, especially children. I recently decided to return to school to obtain my master's degree in counseling to combine my love with my avid interest in psychology. As luck may have it, I was offered a position as the elementary school counselor in my district and started that position in July of this year. Though I am still working on my degree, I amincrediblyy grateful for this opportunity and look forward to working with our littles this year.
