I managed 3 direct reports and Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management and Inventory Management functions for this distributorship and Safeguard franchise. As a member of the C-Suite, I partnered with senior executives to develop company vision, business strategy and plans. We defined funding objectives, established key policies and managed business performance. During my tenure, I:• Collaborated with multiple entities within a large financing institution to perform due diligence for a potential acquisition. I adapted our data for diverse reporting processes across these entities and this information facilitated critical decisions for the institution. • Partnered with the COO to develop a purchase strategy for the business. I created budgets and projections and contributed to a robust business plan that enabled the acquisition to occur in 2015.• Provided financial insight to aid in development of customer solutions for large employers (with 1,000+ employees), city governments, schools, staffing agencies and PEOs.

I developed the company's financial operations, job costing and accounting systems to ensure long-term profitability, adequate cash flow and to align the Cost of Goods with Sales. I negotiated vendor contracts, company insurance and employee benefit plans. I also managed financial statement preparation and company reporting.My role involved invoice approvals, monitoring of check disbursements, oversight of recordkeeping and performance of account reconciliations. I issued notices and statements to past due accounts and controlled credit extensions to customers. I also directed payroll preparation, distribution and reporting.
