Senior Engineer for plant serving the Southeast Region. Managed installation of new production lines, improvements to existing lines, programming PLCs and electrical and mechanical engineering.

Managed facility operations and maintenance department for corporate headquarters and R&D center with an annual budget of $1.8M. Lead engineer responsible for developing and maintaining equipment for polypropylene fabrics research and development.Maintained a strong corporate focus on safety for R&D Center. Conducted monthly safety programs for technicians and trained contractors on contractor safety program. Our facility won the GTMA Excellence in Safety Award in 2004.; Managed project to install new heat set equipment including clearing equipment to make room, running utilities for new equipment, and leasing a 150hp boiler to supply necessary steam. Acted as shift supervisor while R&D Center ran 3 shifts of production until the process was developed and the samples produced.

Design and engineered plastic extrusion and textile equipment supporting R&D Center and six facilities. Supervised CAD dept. designer in drafting, archiving drawings, and distributing them to facilities using AutoCAD.
