Led art teams (up to 50 employees at a time) to develop and execute events/projects at the Disneyland Resort. Provided art and overall design direction and managed full art package, including financial reconciliation, labor planning, and aesthetic package development/design. Created graphics, sets, and backdrops and supervised art crew’s installation of all art assets. Ensured compliance with American Disability Act (ADA) guidelines. Coordinated outside vendors. Notable Events: Disneyland Half Marathon Weekends (including: Star Wars, Marvel, Tinkerbell, and Disneyland Half), Disneyland After Dark events (including: 90’s Nite, Star Wars Nite, Pixar Nite, and Sweetheart’s Nite), Disneyland entry into the LA Pride Parade, Premiere Party for Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure Notable Achievements: Standardized load in timelines and budgets for Disneyland After Dark events, saving the project money on labor from my department, as well as the technical department. The timeline was so successful upon first implementation, the party was able to open 30 minutes early causing ratings on the Guest survey to increase from a “satisfactory” rating to an “excellent” rating.

Coordinated events of all sizes for the Disneyland Resort. Managed budgets ($10k-$5m), coordinated talent, facilitated meetings with cross-functional teams, generated notes for internal teams, managed open items task lists. Notable Events: Premiere Parties for Cars Land and Buena Vista Street, Disney Fairytale Weddings (including Holly Madison’s Wedding and Mariah Carey’s vowel renewal) Notable Achievements: Wrote operating guidelines for Cinderella’s Crystal Coach ride to include accessibility for wheelchairs. Wrote operating guidelines for record storage for Disney Fairytale Weddings, including migration of analog records to digital format.

Facilitated an eight hour onboarding class for all entertainment employees (1-30 employees/session). Provided training in general Resort safety and Safety in Motion.

Oversaw guest performing groups inside the Disneyland Resort, including stage managing shows, facilitating workshops, and booking/coordinating group logistics. Notable Assignments: Served as clinician for intro to music workshop, a 90-minute music theory/history class for elementary and middle school-aged children (10-200 participants/session); facilitated interactive lessons, such as recording soundtracks to movies with various household items. Designed and launched website for housing Guest Talent Program documents, eliminating need for packet mailing and ensuring faster communication with participants. Served as safety lead, inspecting all venues and equipment for potential safety issues; created evacuation plans and maps for the department.
