My strong work ethic and love of fresh bread comes from spending most of my childhood in a bakery. As a child, I accompanied my parents to their store before dawn to watch and learn as my dad baked bread and pastries while my mom managed the front of house. My parents opened their first retail location when I was one year old, and along with other family members, the business grew to 18 bakery/cafés in the San Francisco Bay Area. Throughout high school and college, I performed multiple jobs for my family’s business including selling bread and making sandwiches in the retail stores, delivering catering orders, accounts receivable, covering the order desk, and handling marketing projects. This experience gave me the knowledge and understanding to set out on my own path.
