    As Communications Manager, I raised the profile of The Way Wolverhampton Youth Zone (a £6 million leisure facility/charity that supports young people) amongst critical stakeholders in the Black Country, through the development and implementation of a comprehensive communications strategy.I planned, designed and implemented highly successful digital and print campaigns which increased membership and visits. Within three months of the charity opening, I had already recruited the yearly membership target of 3,000 young people using the facility.I built positive relationships with key local and regional media generating invaluable of press coverage for the charity (120% of target).I built The Way ’s digital presence across social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn using Hootsuite, native tools and Grum) and the web using SEO and PPC. The Way has the fastest growing social media channels compared to Youth Zones across the country.I used analytics to monitor and improve the effectiveness and reach of The Way’s online presence (Google Analytics).Furthermore, I supported Major Funder stewardship, i.e. celebrated investment, secured new funders and maintained a mutually beneficial relationship. I've worked on some award winning projects too like the Free Radio Phantom and Free Radio Live.I won an Arqiva Commercial Radio Award for a highly successful campaign called ‘The Free Radio Phantom.’ I generated over 10 million post impressions on Facebook, 4.5 million ad impressions (over five times more than usual) and increased digital radio listening.I've managed digital teams at large scale music events. For example, at Free Radio Live events, I created strong engagement that caused Free Radio (#FreeRadioLive) to trend worldwide.
