Ghostwriter
CurrentWhat in the world is a ghostwriter and why would I hire one? Most people, even professional writers, often need help expanding their work or getting through common challenges in the writing process (organization, flow, and an ability to consider your work from another perspective, to name a few). Lots of people have great ideas that would make a wonderful book or personal essay or speech but they’ve never put their thoughts down on paper before and are afraid they don’t have the tools to do it themselves. A ghostwriter is someone who comes in and listens to what you want to write about (or reads what you have already written) and figures out how to help you sound like yourself in a coherent and compelling way.I’ve succeeded at ghostwriting because I have a knack for figuring out how to write in someone else’s voice. I can help you write your story the way you would write it if you didn’t need any help or had all the time in the world to chip away at it. I won’t impose my ideas or voice on your work; I’ll just help you figure out what you want to say, find a way to organize it, and stitch it all together into smooth, readable material. My clients include Senior Partners at Fortune 500 companies in the professional and financial services space, law firms, media personalities, graduate students, other professionals, and people who want to write a personal essay or the story of their life for posterity. I'm comfortable writing, ghostwriting, and editing all types of content including: • Blog posts • Personal essays • Creative nonfiction books • Book proposals • Speeches • Magazine articles • Marketing content • Editorial/Op-Ed pieces • News stories • Graduate school level work (thesis/dissertation editing) • Memoirs • Ethical wills
