Jamie B. Schwinghamer chairs Roetzel's Probate, Trust and Guardianship Litigation Practice Group. She concentrates her practice in the areas of probate, trust and guardianship litigation, and assists clients with strategic counseling, business, and legal advice on a variety of matters including, but not limited to: will and trust contests, disputed estate and trust administrations, trust modification, revocation and termination, surcharge and removal proceedings, elder guardianships, guardianship litigation, guardianship advocacy petitions and appeals. Jamie is admitted to practice in Florida and licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.Jamie believes strongly in giving back to the legal community. She is a Past President of the Collier County Women's Bar Association and the Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Collier County Bar Association. In order to ensure that she is ahead of the curve in her practice area, Jamie is heavily involved with The Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section ("RPPTL"). She is a member of the RPPTL Guardianship and Power of Attorney Committee, Probate & Trust Litigation Committee and Probate Law & Procedure Committee. Among Jamie's professional accomplishments, in 2009-2020 she was named to the list of “Florida Rising Stars” in Florida Super Lawyers. Then, in 2021, she was named to "Best Lawyers in America" for Litigation - Trusts and Estates.
