Jamie is an award-winning Product leader who is passionate about leading change in K12 education. Jamie recently moved into a new R&D focused product role at Carnegie Learning. In this role, Jamie is responsible for driving the strategic vision and execution of CL's product research initiatives. Jamie previously worked in CL's new Innovation Department, CL Next, during which the amazing MATHstream product was born. Jamie previously led the Mathematics and Computer Science product lines and worked on the CL Marketing team.With an empathetic focus on the user and eye on the evidence, Jamie strives to build products that make teachers lives easier and help students feel successful learning, building off Carnegie Learning’s 25+ years of research and experience creating intelligent AI-powered tutoring systems and learning programs. Under Jamie’s leadership, the CL team won the EdTech Breakthrough Award for Adaptive Learning Solution of the Year for the MATHstream product, the EdTech Breakthrough Award for Best Use of AI in Education for the LiveLab product, the Best Artificial Intelligence Solution in the EdTech Awards (2020, 2019), Artificial Intelligence + Adaptive Education (AIAED) award (2019), Tech Edvocate Award: Best AI/Machine Learning App or Tool (2019) for our flagship software solution, MATHia®.Prior to this role, Jamie was an award-winning digital marketing leader focused on delivering results and growth. She was the first education advertiser to place an ad on the Facebook ad platform, which quickly dominated as a cost-effective digital marketing source. Jamie was also a pioneer in mobile marketing.Jamie is a panelist and mentor at SXSW EDU and has presented at ProductCamp Columbus, ProductCamp Pittsburgh, and ProductTank Pittsburgh.
