I am an Occupational Therapist Registered/Licensed in Maryland. I am passionate about helping my patients recover independence, confidence, and well-being. I pride myself on my ability to truly listen, perceive the fundamental problems, and respond thoughtfully and compassionately. One of my favorite aspects of the job is interviewing clients and establishing early therapeutic rapport. I discover what motivates them and what occupations bring meaning to their lives. I combine this information with my clinical reasoning skills, my knowledge base, and my understanding of research and evidence to collaborate with clients and my colleagues to develop goals. I have used a number of programs such as Cerner and Epic to document patients' progress clearly and effectively. I regularly review the most current evidenced-based practice as part of my continuing education.
