• Working as part of a 2/3 person team installing structured network cabling (Cat6/6a) in schools and offices.• Installation of interactive touch screen displays and projectors within schools.• Ensuring all workspaces are left clean and tidy after installation.• Talking to customers directly on-site before and after installs to ensure they are happy and understand new equipment.

• Operating sound, follow spot and Lights (Eos) on productions.• Assisting with the duty technician to ensure smooth running and set up of incoming production on a tight timescale.• Helping to run multi patch cables for lighting and sound desks.• Liaising with incoming clients to support their needs on the day.

I was part of the backstage crew for the production of Dick Whittington. This involved assisting in the get in and get out and the tech week. I continued on the production as a stagehand for the rest of its run. Additionally assisted with prop repair work alongside the ASM.

• Duty technician on shows when the main technical manager is not on shift, working alongside touring show crew and ensuring that the in-house crew I was with carried out tasks to ensure smooth operations.• During summer/autumn 2021 I helped cover some of the main technical manager roles while he was ill. This included scheduling staff and responding to emails regarding issues to be resolved alongside discussing client hire requirements. • Liaising with clients to obtain and organise their technical requirements for productions.• Performing theatre maintenance, including regular PAT testing and repairs. • Key holder for unlocking and locking up theatre and dressing room spaces.• Updating and maintaining software based equipment.• Running and patching XLR and DMX lines for lighting and sound desk alongside HDMI or Ethernet (Cat6/6a) lines where required.• In charge of unlocking and locking up the theatre at the start and end of shifts.• Assisting with loading equipment in and out for events on a strict deadline. • Operating either the lighting (Eos) or sound desk to ensure the smooth operation of shows and events.• Assisting with video editing when needed for external companies or social media purposes. • Overseeing the training of new employees.

• Assisting the property department with digitally achieving documents such as leases and plans via Objective. • General administrative tasks such as filing and orgaising for storage archive.

During the worldwide pandemic of Covid-19 the theatre industry was shut down. I was lucky enough to be redeployed to help the council efforts to assist with shielding and vulnerable people across the borough.My main job role as Team Member was to assist in the making of food parcels and to go out and deliver them across the borough.This role ended with the changes in rules about Category A people being advised to shield within England.

I was part of the crew for the production of Aladdin. This involved assisting in the get in and get out. I was then on follow spot for tech week and continued in this role for the length of its run assisting in interval set changes when needed.

I was part of the backstage crew for the production of Sleeping Beauty. This involved assisting in the get in and get out and the tech week. I continued on the production as a stagehand for the length of its run.

This was my first professional contract following my 2 year apprenticeship. I assisted during the get in and out of the show but for the tech week and length of its run I was the sound operator using a ZED 436 Sound desk with Sony UWP-V1 radio microphones and a MacBook running QLab.
