As a High School English Teacher in Argyle ISD, I am passionate about helping students develop their language and literacy skills, as well as their critical thinking and creativity. I have been teaching English language and literature courses for 14 years, including Advanced Placement (AP) classes that prepare students for college-level exams and credits.In addition to teaching, I am also skilled in curriculum writing, professional development, and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs. I have written and revised English curricula for both public and charter schools. I have also participated in multiple workshops and trainings to enhance my pedagogical knowledge and practice. Furthermore, I have a Master of Education in Special Education and Teaching from Texas Woman's University, which enables me to provide differentiated and personalized instruction and support for diverse learners.Most recently I have started my venture into a second Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy at Abilene Christian University.
