Jamie is currently working as a Development Manager at Cantiro working on both rental and for sale multi family, retail and mixed use developments.He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2013 and Master of Structural Engineering in 2015 at the University of Alberta working with Dr. Robert Driver. Prior to completing his Master's Degree, Jamie worked at Protostatix Engineering in Edmonton on the design of new low and mid-rise residential and commercial buildings, warehouses and renovation projects. He gained experience working with structural steel, reinforced concrete, timber, cold-formed steel and masonry systems. In 2015, Jamie moved with his family to Calgary and joined Entuitive's Calgary office where he worked mainly on existing building and renovation projects. Here he applied his understanding of structural systems to projects within active existing buildings and various other unique work sites. From there he transitioned, in 2019, to Enmax’s project engineering team, working on as a Civil Project engineer on substation, network and distribution projects. Developing his skills for project management, concrete design and construction engineering.Jamie is always looking for new volunteer opportunities within the Edmonton development and construction industries.
