As a member of the BTO (Business Transformation Office) focused on PLC (Product Lifecycle) initiatives I work to define and train the calendar deliverables, process and tools to assist teams in reaching their milestones. I manage the seasonal calendars for the cross-functional teams and problem solve any issues that hinder productivity levels. My team works closely with the IT department to align the systems and tools with the business process. Business productivity analysis and process definitions are constantly reviewed and enhanced to ensure we are working as efficiently as possible as a global organization.

As purchasing on the internet continues on the rise, I am trying to reach out to these fast growing websites and get Jump Apparel product out there and seen. We are sold on Amazon, Overstock, Zappos, and multiple flash sale websites, but there are so many more opportunities I intend to find.

I continued working with the company after my internship had ended. I worked more as the sales assistant in my freelance position during their Cruise 2010 market. I worked with entering and confirming orders, EOM and shipping reports, as well as helping to train the new interns with everything they need to know from samples to selling reports.

I came to YSL as a wholesale intern for 6 months. Over my internship I learned the basics of the sales assistant position. I assisted in everything from creating and maintaining selling reports from our clients to inputting and confirming orders. I assisted in product knowledge meetings and made the powerpoint presentations for them. I sent and tracked all samples for 4 seasons while I was there and helped merchandise the clients stores. I learned alot and have alot more to learn and am eager to.
