Responsibilities include: managing, curating and selecting work for exhibition and commissioning; working with national and international partners to deliver an innovative programme of events; developing and delivering the digital arts and culture education programme for young people; curating and contextualising exhibitions; fundraising for Lighthouse’s programme; lecturing on the MA in Digital Media Arts (co-run with University of Brighton); and working closely with relevant stakeholders, including universities, Arts Council England and local authorities.

Responsible for the artistic, strategic and managerial direction of Lighthouse; responsible for financial / budget management and delivery planning; team management, staff line management and overseeing of staff work plans and development; responsible to Board of Trustees, working with Board members on strategy and financial planning for the organisation and action plan development; led on stakeholder management and acted as key contact for stakeholders; brokered relationships with partners; led on business planning, fundraising, business model development, recruitment of consultants and analysis of business strategy.

Jamie has worked in three regional offices of the Arts Council, in Yorkshire, South East and London, leading on the development of: live art, media art, artist workspace development and artists' professional development, working with key funded organisations across the country including ACME Studios, Gasworks, Site Gallery and Artquest.

Programmer for digitally produced work for Showroom Cinema and Workstation Gallery; curating and selecting work and developing exhibitions, whilst supporting the development of artists’ practice.
