About Jamil Daher
I am a Sociolinguist. My major areas of interest are: Dialectology, First and Second Language Acquisition, Translation and Culture, Language Learning and Language teaching. My Research interests focus on the Social Aspects of Language (Arabic in particular). I have several papers on Linguistics published in various journals and periodicals. My Current Research is concerned with the Importance of Oral Communication in Second Language learning. My Translation work underway is an English Novel to appear in Arabic soon!! Currently I am teaching English to students of Medical Sciences and IELTS Courses.
