This included building data center halls from the ground up installing network rows, placing new racks, working with vendors on labeling conventions for cabling structure, placing new data hall essential equipment to include crash carts, work stations, ladders, trashcans, secure media bins, chairs, etc. - Perform network troubleshooting to include cleaning fibers of both LC and SC connections in a flapping state. Replaced Optics if CRC errors are detected. And whole fiber runs if the cable is bad due to light not passing through the fibers correctly. Conducted full switch swaps if necessary. - Responsible for the logistics of Incoming and Outgoing RMA’s.- Energized newly received rack equipment via the tap boxes connected to the starline bus power configuration. - Performed standard linux commands to ensure consoles were at bash, healthy, fully functional, reachable and operational.- Communication tools used – Google Suites, Slack, Zoom, and Pager duty for oncall.

- Utilized the ticketing system Kayako to work hardware request’s for our client. - Day to day operations included server builds, posting servers after successful builds, break fix, isolation testing of server hardware, switch installs, network downlink troubleshooting, running cross connects from Tor devices to patch panels, terminating RJ45 connections to T568B Standards, hard drive swaps, Inventorying inbound equipment for logistics operations and performing decommissioning projects to make way for new server builds and technology. - As DCOPs for M3Com I took part in a monthly on-call rotation system.

- Troubleshooting RAC server hosts ensuring that their consoles were healthy. - Replaced faulty hardware inside the host if they were failing. - Replaced failing SAS Drives, Hard Drives, and Solid State Drives then destroyed them using a wiper or degausser. - Performed RAC Side Diagnostics Isolation tests to determine the root cause of host failures. - Flashed replaced motherboards by running Linux commands provided by VA Data's In house wiki pages. - Used VA Data's proprietary ticketing system Myday to fix hosts lined up in the queue for repairs. Remedy was the secondary ticketing system in use at the time.
