I am an experienced humanitarian and development worker with over 4 years of professional experience in the nonprofit sector, designing and implement peacebuilding, social cohesion and community-building programs. My skills include the facilitation of community-level dialogues, capacity building for local actors and authorities in interest-based negotiation (IBN) trainings, community-level action planning, strengthening resiliency of host communities affected by insurgency, and consultancy services in peace and development-related research, including data collection, analysis and validation process using kobo collect.As a human rights advocate, my experience spans around the mainstreaming of human right approaches and respect for individual and group agency in program planning and implementation, including utilizing humanitarian interventions to ensure protection and address concerns of women and children through the use of social inclusion and gender transformative actions. My experience exposed me to support CAAFAGs in socio and economic re-integration PSEA, parental skills CFS set-up, and capacity building, utilizing child protection minimum standards and relevant national and international legal instruments to facilitate support and empowerment for these groups and other vulnerable populations.As a project leaders, my considerable knowledge and years of experience in proposal development, budgeting and financial management earned me the opportunity to successfully manage two projects that focused on building community resilience, supporting livelihoods and facilitating early recovery in insurgency-affected communities in North-East Nigeria.
