Career Center

• Provide Same-Day Career Advising to over 500 undergraduate and graduate students, including resume critiques, assistance with choosing a career path or major, and applying to graduate school • Present workshops on career development and career readiness topics as requested by departments, instructors, and organizations• Collaborate with colleagues to create a comprehensive binder of resume examples for all majors offered at FAU• Create a manual for a new instant messaging software that allows students to speak to a Career Center professional virtually• Exercise discretion with students who display indications of emotion that prohibit them from being receptive to career advice and use campus resources like Counseling and Psychological Services to assist students with their most immediate need
