Southall Black Sisters (SBS) established in 1979 to meet the needs of Asian and African-Caribbean women who experience all forms of gender-based violence e.g. challenges with immigration, No Recourse to Public Funds, forced and transnational marriage abandonment, domestic violence, 'honour-based' crimes, sexual and other forms of abuse. • Delivered quarterly monitoring, budgeting and finance reports for 4 Mayor of Policing and Crime (MOPAC) projects (young women and girls with multiple disadvantages, ending harmful practice and non-crisis support for women on a long-term basis). Delivery Manager for MOPAC London Holistic Wrap Around Service, providing regular support to 4 VAWG partners.• Led and coordinated a COVID video diary project with regular phone, WhatsApp and Zoom calls; Empathetically assisted and supported migrant women with no recourse to public funds, asylum seekers and survivors of domestic violence to create their video diaries. This resulted in a ’My Life Under Lockdown’ film for funders and used as an online activism campaign to raise awareness of lockdown challenges for migrant women.

Led, interviewed and wrote case study impact research with over 12 service users and organisations across Medway, Bexley and Harlow. Promoted the benefits of Time Credits in person and over the phone to over 30 new businesses across West London in Harrow and Hillingdon, Ealing and Hounslow to support job seekers within Shaw Trust and DWP programme.
