Als lid van het Adviescollege Openbaarheid en Informatiehuishouding (ACOI) werk ik aan het bevorderen van transparantie binnen de overheid. Het college adviseert onafhankelijk de regering en het parlement over openbaarheid en goed beheer van overheidsinformatie. Wij bemiddelen ook bij klachten over de afhandeling van Woo-verzoeken en stimuleren kennisdeling om publieke toegang tot overheidsinformatie te verbeteren.As a member of the Advisory Committee on Public Access and Information Management (ACOI), I work to promote government transparency. The committee independently advises the government and parliament on transparency and proper information management. We also mediate complaints about the handling of access requests and foster knowledge-sharing to improve public access to government information.

Als bestuurslid van het Tijdelijk Noodfonds Energie zet ik me in om huishoudens met een laag tot midden inkomen te ondersteunen bij het betalen van hun energierekening. Het Noodfonds, opgericht in 2022, helpt gezinnen met hoge energiekosten en wordt ondersteund door zowel energiebedrijven als de overheid. In 2023 heeft het fonds meer dan 50.000 huishoudens geholpen en is in 2024 opnieuw geopend geweest vanwege de aanhoudende hoge energieprijzen.As a board member of the Temporary Fund, I work to support low- to middle-income households with high energy costs in managing their energy bills. Established in 2022, the fund assists households facing financial strain due to high energy bills and is supported by energy companies and government funding. In 2023, it helped over 50,000 families and reopened in 2024 to address ongoing high energy costs.
