• Complete credentialing applications for Ophthalmology, Podiatry, and Psychiatry departments as well as maintain physician files for audits. Responsible for obtaining pertinent documentation for timely and accurate application submission in compliance with managed care guidelines.• Security administrator for third-party websites. Register users and maintain user profiles. Provide basic user support.• Coordinate orientations for New Jersey Medical School staff for the purpose of learning about relationships with newly contracted health plans or to discuss issues and concerns with currently contracted health plans.• Manage patient care websites for New Jersey Medical School Faculty Practice which includes managed care tools for staff. Create and maintain web design and content.• Handle special projects as assigned by Director of Clinical Affairs and Manager of Managed Care Operations. Projects require meeting deadlines, scheduling meetings, working closely with Office of the Dean, and inter-departmental collaboration.

• Manage patient care websites for New Jersey Medical School Faculty Practice which includes managed care tools for staff. Create and maintain web design and content.• Handle special projects as assigned by director of Managed Care, Contracting, and Credentialing as well as Executive Director for Administration for New Jersey Medical School dean’s office. Projects require meeting deadlines, scheduling meetings, and inter-departmental collaboration.• Assist manager of Managed Care Operations as well as credentialing team by preparing, reviewing, and submitting physician credentialing applications for new and existing physicians. Responsible for obtaining pertinent documentation for timely and accurate submission in compliance with managed care guidelines.

• Created and managed patient care website in order to increase revenue, improve patient access, improve provider usability, and offer managed care tools to support New Jersey Medical School Faculty Practice staff.• Collaborated with select UMDNJ, University Physician Associates, and University Hospital managers and directors in bi-weekly “think tank” meetings to discuss interdepartmental work flow, share information, and pool feedback.• Assisted credentialing team with preparation and submission of credentialing applications for new and existing physicians.
