Director Of Programming
Current- Designed art and music education programs by recruiting and managing over 20 talented art and music instructors who teach 28 music students and over 125 art students, and by directing classes, workshops, and lessons that provide excellent service and a variety of arts experiences for students.- Created marketing campaigns and implemented online registration forms that build awareness and increased participation in arts education programming, entertainment, and cultural experiences of the organization by over 50%.- Mobilized volunteers after the pandemic interrupted volunteer services by recruiting, training, and managing 70 former and new volunteers, and established two new volunteer committees.- Expanded children’s programming by growing the number of summer theater, musical theater, and art camps from one summer camp to seven summer arts camps, founding the first annual Winnsboro Children’s Art Competition & Exhibition by partnering with the Culture Club Art Gallery of Winnsboro, establishing the first bi-annual music recital for private music students, directing children’s ceramics classes, and providing several other artistic opportunities for children.- Strengthened relationships with the community and the school district by partnering with the Behavioral Specialist of Winnsboro ISD to provide free monthly arts-related activities for special needs students and their families.
