Responsible for daily aspects of field leadership for 10 process operators. Maintaining high HSSE standards, meeting production targets and oversee the performance management & development of process operators. The role assures the operating team is utilizing the Ensure Safe Production (ESP), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Maintenance Excellence (ME) work processes to operate units within defined limits and deliver long-term reliable operation. - Responsible for HSSE (compliance & barriers), initial investigations, and proper notification of HSSE events- Conduct HSE audits- Identification and initial management of abnormal situations including impacted stakeholder communications- Meet production targets or identify constraints- Identify 24/7 production threats- Support worksite permitting- Execute daily operating orders and maintenance preparation plans- Review operational team shift turnovers and end-of-shift reports to assure quality and content is meeting ESP expectations- Assure execution of RCM operator tasks and follow up on findings when needed- Assure product quality- Set and enforce operator performance standards- Responsible for development of shift team members to performance standards- Support business initiatives- Alarm management- Ensure injuries are treated and reported- Team scheduling - Identify required resources including technical, maintenance, management and production
