Jamin Barber is an experienced healthcare consultant and project management professional. He is currently an Associate Director at Guidehouse, Inc.Prior to coming to Guidehouse, Jamin was a Senior Consultant at Public Consulting Group where he provided consulting and project management services for Medicaid quality improvement and Managed Care contract initiatives. Areas of expertise included areas state and federal quality reporting requirements for Medicaid waiver programs, managed care contract development and procurement and implementation for pandemic contact tracing programs for US states. Jamin built the Texas division of Chrysalis, Inc., focused on behavioral health services in Medicaid waiver space from conception to realization and led all departments (HR, operations, treatment, billing and payments). As the state operations executive, Jamin developed programs in two geographic markets, developing rapid contract growth. He later brokered the sale of the division overseeing all stages of due diligence and acquisition.Previously, Jamin was a consulting manager at The Center for Policy and Innovation for the State of Texas where he led a team of pharmacists and IT professionals, improving clinical training and outcomes for over 1100 healthcare facilities across the State of Texas. Jamin was the Chief Operations Officer for MHRST, Inc., a behavioral health company where he directed the clinical treatment team in service delivery to patients and provided oversight for unit directors and managers. Jamin is a graduate of the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis. In addition to his master’s degree, he received two specialized certifications in applied research and in administration. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and has managed both large and small scale projects in the IT, government, and healthcare industries.
