Hands on oversight and management of the Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Shipping and Receiving Departments. Managing Pro Sign Company’s Engineering team consisting of Design and purchasing staff. Worked to develop new products, reviewed and analyzed labor rates and manufactured product time studies, negotiated contracts, and led teams on multimillion dollar bids. Instrumental in streamlining production processes to lower manufacturing costs and increase profitability. Act as liaison between Sales, Project Management and Production Departments. Prior current role served as the Production Manager supervising up to 25 individuals. In this role, mentored new hires, developed a new employee training program, and reorganized the production team into a highly efficient work force.• Led team working on, and wining a leading petroleum refiner and distributor’s $21 million interior / exterior reimage bid.• Identified and negotiated with oversees manufacturer to develop LED price changer system.• Negotiated increase in manufacturer standard warranty from two years to five years; warranty increase was vital in acquisition of $20 million five-year image conversion.• Developed and implemented training program, leading to 25% increase in volume.
